By playing Finside you agree to these terms. If you got Finside from Apple’s App Store or TestFlight, Apple’s Standard License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply.
It’s a game
Finside is based on real species and real fishkeeping, simplified for play. It isn’t veterinary, scientific or professional advice. Before you make changes to a real aquarium or care for a real animal, check a trusted care guide, a veterinarian or your local fish store.
No warranty
Finside is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Game saves are stored on your device and can be lost, for example if the app is deleted or your device clears its storage. Make backup codes if your tanks matter to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Finside. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Testing versions
Test builds, like those on TestFlight, are unfinished. They may have bugs, change or stop working, and saves from test builds may not carry over to later versions.
Ownership
Finside’s code, art and text belong to Jill Kamperides. Please don’t copy, modify or redistribute the game without permission. The Recursive typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.
Changes
These terms may change as the game grows. The new version will be posted here with a new date.
