Finside: Idle Aquarium · Last updated October 23, 2026
Short version: the game doesn’t collect any information about you.
What Finside collects
Nothing. Finside has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The game doesn’t connect to the internet at all, and it doesn’t send your information to the developer or to anyone else.
Where your game is saved
Your tanks are saved only on your own device. If you delete the app, the save is deleted with it. The game can make a backup code that you can copy; that code stays wherever you choose to put it.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, reminders like “your fish are hungry” are scheduled by your phone itself. Nothing is sent to a server.
If you contact the developer
If you email Finside, your email address and whatever you write are used only to reply to you and to fix or improve the game. They aren’t shared or sold, and you can ask for your messages to be deleted.
Beta testing
If you join a test version through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple shares the name and email address you were invited with, and any feedback, screenshots or crash reports you choose to send, with the developer. They’re used only to run the test and fix problems.
Children
Finside doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
App stores and testing
Apple (App Store and TestFlight) and Google (Google Play) run their own stores and may collect information under their own privacy policies, such as crash reports or tester feedback you choose to send. Finside’s developer only sees what those services share with developers, like anonymous crash reports and feedback you submit.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
